Melody took her first dance class at age 3 in New Philadelphia, Ohio. She has been a dance studio owner as well as a teacher/choreographer in the Stark County and Carroll County areas for over 20 years.
Melody studied and performed tap, ballet/pointe and jazz in Las Vegas, Nevada under the direction of master teacher Ms. Gregory at Las Vegas Performing Arts.
Melody specializes in teaching intermediate and advanced tap as well as acrobat and hip hop jazz. Many of Melody's former students have won first place honors (including instructor Erin Lewis) at regional and national competitions.
Melody and her husband Rodney own and operate a Dairy Queen in Malvern, Ohio.
