PERFORMANCES

Competition Team solos, duos, trios, and groups perform for and receive feedback from a panel of professional judges with expertise in singing, dancing, and theatre. Triple Threat Judges' Evaluations, held in February, provide excellent preparation for upcoming performances at competition. Participation is required of all performers.

The annual Musical Theatre Showcase is held in March for all singing students, beginner through advanced. Also performing in the showcase are students on the Singing Competition Team. Participation is required of all performers.

Competition students performing dancing, singing, and acting solos may have an opportunity to perform at Access Broadway competition in Pittsburgh, typically held in April. This competition focuses on acting, dance, and vocal performances, aiming to provide a Broadway experience for participants.

A local competition experience that is both entertaining and wonderful for children and parents is the Artistic Dance Competition held in May. Competition students, beginner through advanced, perform dance routines and singing pieces they have been taught throughout the year. All singers and dancers perform in costume.
